Delhi Daredevils defeated Bangalore Royal Challengers by five wickets in the Indian Premier League tie at Bangalore on Monday.

Bangalore rode on the brilliance of man of the match Goswami (52) and Misbah-ul-Haq (47*) to reach 154-7 in their alloted 20 overs once Delhi elected to field first after winning the toss.

In reply, Delhi erased the victory target for the loss of 5 wickets with 10 balls to spare after openers Gautam Gambhir (39) and Virender Sehwag (47) had added a quick-fire 90 off just 7 overs.

AB de Villiers made 21 while Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik remained unbeaten on 16 and 13 respectively.
