West Indian Dwayne Smith Replaces Countrymate Dwayne Bravo In Mumbai Indians Squad For IPL

IPL title contenders Mumbai Indians have roped in all-rounder Dwayne Smith as a replacement for fellow West Indian Dwayne Bravo, who flew back home to join his teammates for the opening Test against Australia at Jamaica from Thursday.

Every IPL team is allowed to register nine foreigners and Smith happens to be Mumbai's ninth.

Bravo featured in Sunday's 23-run win over Deccan Chargers and scored 178 runs,picked up 11 wickets and took four catches in nine IPL matches while
Smith has been more successful with the ball.

As a bowler, in Twenty20 games,Smith has 11 wickets in 9 games at 15.27 and has scored only 72 runs in at an average of 8.
