Pakistan Or Sri Lanka – Champions Trophy Fate To Be Decided Via Teleconference On Sunday

The International Cricket Council (ICC) will decide on Sunday whether to persist with Pakistan or shift the Champions Trophy to Sri Lanka, via a teleconference.

As per Cricinfo website, top ICC officials, including president David Morgan, vice-president Sharad Pawar and chief executive Haroon Lorgat met in Dubai on Wednesday to discuss feedback from task force briefings with stakeholders from England, Australia and New Zealand, and decided to hold a teleconference of the task team on Friday.

The Friday meet will be followed by all-important board meeting on Sunday to decide the fate of Champions Trophy in Pakistan.

ICC has stated that Sri Lanka remains the official alternate venue.
