Chennai Super Kings pulled off a stunning four-wicket win to beat Delhi Daredevils off the last ball in their away IPL match at the Ferozeshah Kotla in New Delhi on Thursday.

Gautam Gambhir scored 80 to reach his fourth half century of the tournament as he guided Delhi to a challenging 187 for five. In reply, Chennai chased down the daunting total off the last ball as S Vidyut (40), Stephen Fleming (44), captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (33) and Albie Morkel (30) made important contributions.

The win brought relief to Chennai camp as it was their fifth win in the competition and first after three successive defeats.

Chennai now moved to third spot while Delhi slipped to fourth, after their third loss in seven matches.
