England coach Peter Moores wants his players to carry forward the winning momentum sustained during the series win in New Zealand into the home series against the same opponent in the return Test series, which kicks-off at Lord's on Thursday.
"We have to try to carry the momentum we picked up into this series. If we do, I think we've got a great chance of being successful," Moores was quoted as saying to BBC Sport.
England won the series 2-1 in New Zealand in March and Moores expects his team to sustain the winning momentum.
The England coach hinted at playing left-arm spinner Monty Panesar for the opening Test, which meant that either James Anderson or Matthew Hoggard will be left out.
