Opener Gautam Gambhir's blistering 54-ball 86 powered Delhi Daredevils to a ten-run victory over Bangalore Royal Challengers in match 17 of the Indian Premier League at New Delhi today.

Delhi, who were asked to bat first by the visitors, posted a challenging 191-5 in 20 overs, but Bangalore, who were propped up by Jacques Kallis (54) and Rahul Dravid (38) fell short by 10 runs.

Delhi star Glenn McGrath was the pick of the bowlers and claimed 4 for 29 off his four overs to emerge the first bowler in the IPL to dismiss four batsmen.
