England all-rounder Paul Collingwood has announced that he will be fit to play the first Test against New Zealand at Lord's starting Thursday.
The 31-year-old Collingwood had pain-killing injection last Friday to ease the pain after a right shoulder problem during Durham's County Championship defeat to Lancashire.
"I'm excited to play, the shoulder is fine," Collingwood was quoted as saying to BBC Sport.
"I don't want to go into a Test match feeling 50%, I want to go in 100% - that was the reason for the injection and hopefully it makes me 100% fit," he added.
