Kolkata Knight Riders beat Bangalore Royal Challengers by five runs in a keenly-fought IPL tie at Eden Garders, Kolkata tonight.

Kolkata managed to score 129-7 off 16 overs in a rain-reduced match, but bowled well to restrict their rivals to 124-4 in the end.

Bangalore wicket-keeper Mark Boucher played a valiant knock of 50 off 40 balls, but the South African's effort went in vain. Camaroon White too wielded his magic, scoring 30 off 16 balls and was out in the penultimate over to open the doors of victory for Kolkata completely.
