Kolkata Knight Riders ace fast bowler Ishant Sharma was fine 10 per cent of his match fees for kicking down the stumps during Saturday's IPL match against King’s XI Punjab at Mohali.

Match referee Clive Lloyd found Ishant guilty of a Level 1 offence (clause 2) as per the International Cricket Council's Code of Conduct which has been adopted by the Twenty20 League authorities, a media release said on Sunday.

The offence relates to abusing ground equipment, PTI reported.
