Shaun Pollock claimed three wickets and Sanath Jayasuriya continued to dazzle with a 17-ball 48 as Mumbai Indians once staged an allround performance to comprehensively beat Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets in the Indian Premier League at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Friday.

Mumbai skittled out Kolkata for 67 off 15.2 overs, which was IPL's lowest total so far. In reply, the home team romed home in just 5.3 overs to move to the fourth place in the IPL standings.

Mumbai's decision to bowl first on a seaming wicket proved right as all their bowlers kept the Kolkata batsmen under check as skipper Ganguly with 15 and Salman Butt with 13 were the top-scorers among the top-order batsmen.

Fast bowler Ajit Agarkar managed a handy 15.

Dwayne Bravo, Thornely and Raje claimed 2 wickets each while Mumbai skipper Sachin Tendulkar caught four batsmen to become IPL's highest catcher in an innings so far.
