Kings XI Punjab thrashed Bangalore Royal Challengers by six wickets to score their fifth win in a row at the Chinnaswamy stadium.

Punjab were chasing 127 for victory and they managed to do it quite easily with 10 balls to spare.

Opener Shaun Marsh top-scored with 39 and added 54 runs for the second wicket with Ramnaresh Sarwan (31) to seal victory.

For Bangalore, this was their fifth defeat in seven IPL outings as Zaheer Khan and Praveen Kumar took two wickets each once Bangalore had just made 126.

Earlier, Rahul Dravid was the lone warrior for Bangalore as he top-scored with a gritty 66 as wickets tumbled around him and Punjab skittled out the hosts for 126 in 19.2 overs.
