West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has signed for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

Bravo will play along side stars like Sachin Tendulkar, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and South African fast bowler Shaun Pollock.

Bravo's IPL signing means that he will not be available for Trinidad in next week's Carib Challenge Shield final against Jamaica.

However, Trinidad and Tobago team manager Colin Borde has good words for Bravo's move into the IPL scene as he felt it will benefit the national team in the long run.

"I think everybody is excited for him going up to the IPL and playing with Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Shaun Pollock," Borde was quoted as saying by the Trinidad Express.
