The England & Wales Cricket Board Confirms Meeting Sir Allen Stanford In View Of Twenty20 Cricket

The England and Wales Cricket Board has confirmed of having held talks with Sir Allen Stanford in the full knowledge of the West Indies Cricket Board.

ECB on its official website has described the meetings in London as "very positive and constructive".

The website said that detailed proposals will be submitted to the ECB and will be further discussed during the month of May.

The meeting was ECB's strategic approach towards Twenty20 cricket as it confirmed that this was being done in accordance with decisions taken by International Cricket Council – and supported by both the Board of Control for Cricket in India and ECB – that the Future Tours Programme takes precedence over domestic competitions.
