India Seal World Cup U-19 Finals Berth - Pakistan Meet South Africa In The Second Semi-Final On Friday
Indian colts kept their cool under pressure to overcome New Zealand by three wickets to seal a finals berth in the ICC U-19 World Cup in Kuala Lumpur.
The Indians initially restricted New Zealand to 205 for 8 in 50 overs but had to chase a revised score of 191 in 43 overs based on the D/L system after rain interruption.
The Indian run chase was set up by Sreevats Goswami (51) and skipper Virat Kohli (43) as New Zealand failed to stop their opponents from winning the first semi-final off 41.3 overs.
