Tendulkar Will Be Fit For IPL, Claims Mumbai Indians Coach Rajput

Mumbai Indians coach Lalchand Rajput is optimistic that Sachin Tendulkar will regain total fitness from his groin injury and be back captaining his side in the IPL competition, which beings on April 18.

Tendulkar is currently out of action in the ongoing India-South Africa series.

"Sachin is a player who does not like to miss any games. I am sure the physio will take care of him and he will be all right in time for the IPL," Mumbai Indians' coach Lalchand Rajput was quoted as saying to PTI.

Mumbai Indians will begin their IPL preparation on April 11, precisely a week ahead of the start of IPL.
