England seamer Ryan Sidebottom is excited about ECB's proposed £10 million winner-takes-all Twenty20 match, which is currently under discussions with American billionaire Allen Stanford.

"The money that is being talked about - make no bones about it - is great," Sidebottom was quoted as saying to www.sportal.com.au

"It is futures for families, will pay mortgages. Why not?

"Everyone wants to play in it and I am no different. You certainly don't want to be injured and you don't want to be carrying drinks!

"If it comes around and there is an opportunity to play in it, if selected, then why not? But at this moment in time I am with England and I don't want to get carried away," the left-arm seamer, said.

The ECB had objected to its centrally contracted players from featuring in the BCCI's IPL, but has show some inclination to Stanford's offer.
