Former West Indies opening batsman Desmond Haynes fears that the Indian Cricket Leagues, which have been a money spinner, could potentially destroy cricket itself.
"I am worried about the Indian leagues right now. I am worried that it may destroy the game that has given me so much', Haynes was quoted as saying to IANS.
"Test cricket can be revived but the West Indian Cricket Board has to do their part in the Caribbean. I think no one must ask fans in Guyana to pay $30 to look at a Test match. This is just not right," he said.
